Soroka & Associates Representing Victim in Early Beginnings Abuse Case
Soroka & Associates recently filed a lawsuit against the Early Beginnings Child Care and Learning Center in Huber Heights, Ohio, because of a heartbreaking incident involving abuse. We are representing one of the young victims and their family in their search for justice against the facility. Reports about the abuse and negligence at Early Beginnings reveal a shocking pattern of wrongful actions combined with a willingness of others at the facility to look away rather than expose the harmful conduct. Currently, at least four families have spoken out to report abuse at the hands of a staff member at Early Beginnings. It’s horrible to imagine that this conduct was allowed to continue even after reports from the first child who suffered injuries in the care center.
Soroka & Associates’ Roger Soroka spoke out about the case and the firm’s dedication to seeking justice for their client:
As counsel for one of the families impacted by this day care’s negligence, our firm is committed to holding the responsible parties accountable for the harm caused by the day care employee and the day care facility’s failure to act. The severity of the injuries suffered by our infant client is deeply distressing, and the emotional toll on the family is immeasurable. Learning that a child has been hurt while in the care of a trusted institution is a devastating experience that no family should ever have to endure.
The betrayal felt by our clients is profound. Day care facilities are entrusted with the most vulnerable members of our society, and it is their duty to provide a safe and nurturing environment. When this trust is broken, the consequences are not only physical but also emotional and psychological.
The safety and well-being of children must always be the top priority, and we will continue to fight for a system where families can trust that their children are protected.
What are the allegations against Early Beginnings?
The reports state that one of the victims, who was just three months old at the time, required emergency surgery after suffering from a serious brain injury while in the care of Early Beginnings in 2024. A witness claims to have seen one of the employees of the day care facility shake the child, potentially leading to the injury. Families of three other children reported similar injuries. It appears that the same individual is likely responsible for harming all four children.
Law enforcement is conducting a criminal investigation into allegations of child abuse at the facility. Between the active investigation and the multiple reports, it’s apparent that the facility had knowledge of the abuse, and yet they neglected to take steps to protect the children in their care from suffering similar injuries.
Soroka & Associates is now working to hold the facility accountable by pursuing civil legal action against Early Beginnings on behalf of one of the victims.
